The Project
New aquatic areas for school and club sports
The AYA Bad in Salzburg was expanded in 2012 to include an additional indoor pool for school and club sports. During the course of the new construction, including an improved entrance concept, the old changing rooms and sanitary building were also demolished. In order to better and more safely guide the flow of visitors, a new bicycle and walking path was also added. The pool now offers its visitors a total aquatic area of 750 m², divided between indoor and outdoor pools.
"As the owner's project manager or owner's representative, all orders and invoices cross my desk. I'm also on the job sites a lot to see how things are going. My first project with COOR was the AYA Bad in 2011. When you get a new program, you always have certain ideas about what it should be able to do. We focused on cost tracking with COOR. In the beginning, it was a matter of testing and seeing how it worked for us, how user-friendly it was. There were also suggestions from us for further development. In the meantime, it has worked well and the invoices are automatically transferred from our accounting system into COOR. My added value from COOR is the cost-based project presentation with all the ups and downs, a collected work with all orders and invoices. This means that I know at the push of a button where the project stands. For us, the cooperation with external partners in processing in COOR is also developing very positively, so we avoid duplication in cost tracking."
