Divided into phases such as cost framework, cost estimate, cost calculation, cost proposal and cost quotation, cost calculation estimates the financial expenditure of the planned construction project. Cost calculations can be based on previous ones as well as on standard templates such as the German DIN 276, the Swiss MKP or the Austrian ÖNORM 1801. Calculation approaches as well as standard values, are ideally taken over from already completed projects and merely adapted to the respective specifics. The level of detail and the calculation approach can be freely selected for each cost group. The digital approval process makes it possible to use the currently valid cost calculation as the project budget and can also be carried out in stages for project developments.
